I realize that the 412 TDL pinouts do indicate a specific polarity, per port. If the polarity is switched on one jack, what indications do you get? I've had a jack to a 44XX phone miswired for a long time and there have been no issues?? Just curious.
Well - the ports technically DO have polarity (Tip vs. Ring). For example, at Port 1, the White/Blue wire should be Tip 1, and the Blue/White wire should be Ring 1.
