I wrote an application that you have to log into. The front jsp page accepts a username and password. When I enter the user name and password the browser will pop up a prompt asking me if I would like to save the password. Is there anyway my jsp code or servlet code can just stop that popup box asking me if I would like to save my password or not in mozilla and IE. Thank you

I don't *believe* that is possible I'm afraid - its up to the browser. But I could be wrong - someone else may have an idea ...

Hi

Yes, sedj is right. And not only the browser itself can save the login informations, some extensions and toolbars can also, with or without prompting. You can not stop them all.

Feherke.
