hey, is there anyway to make it extremely hard to view source in a page? and right clicking and everything? i would just use javascript, but not all browsers support it.

Um, why is this in the PHP forum? This would probably relate to JavaScript or something like that. If you are thinking that PHP will hide your code, you are half right. PHP will hide the actual PHP code, but it will print the HTML to the browser and anyone can just view the source.

Visit the site and click on the FullScreen Enter button. The page opens in full screen, and it is extremely difficult to view the source on the page. This is in IE. In Netscape, you can just click anywhere to view the source.

There is really no way to keep people from viewing the HTML/JavaScript of your page.

Hope this helps,

thx, i was just wondering if it was possible. i have heard of people writing WHOLE websites to one document in asp, im sure its possible in php. so if you can write a whole site in php, it IS possible to hide the source code, that is what i was asking. thx!

hi,

i've been using php for a while now and generally get php to echo out html commands and then write pages as a seriees of scripts.

this means clicking on view source gets them html describing tables etc but nothing else.

i'm sure this is the same if you code html seperately but it's not much of a risk ...
