This laptop I got is a Toshiba Tecra 8000 that runs on a pentium II processor. Is there anyway I can upgrade it to play games like counter-strike? I tryed to play a demo of Metal Gear Solid on PC, and errors kept occurring. It would say that I need 4 MB of Virtual Aceleration or something along that line. Then it would say if these 4 MB were freed up Metal Gear would run in hardware mode instead of software mode. Do I need to get a video card or something?

Thanks.

I'm afraid it's one of the downpoints to most laptops, they have in the main, poor graphics performance, unless you can afford one of the latest Radeon mobility equipt laptops, you are unforunately stuck with what you have. Martin
