Is there anything in Informix that do database replication like what standby database do in Oracle?
Meaning, we will have a sencondary database which is idle but getting archivelogs from primary database so that it will be always standby to take over the primary database incase of anything goes wrong with primary database?

Actually, HDR (High-Availability Data Replication) is very similar to Oracle's "hot-standby". It's also very easy to setup.
