I NEED SOMEONE TO GUIDE ME (STEP BY STEP) THROUGH. I'M TRYING TO CONFIGURE MY WIN 2000 SERVER TO "TALK" TO MY REGISTERED DOMAIN!

IS THERE ANYONE!?

You'll need to clarify what you mean by "Talk" top my registered domain first .....

Generaly, this is the problem:

I have incoming static IP ( 000.000.00.000 ) DSL which is connected to ROUTER , router goes to HUB and hub splits connections to 6 PC's. One of the pc's is SERVER running windows 2000 server.

My internet works fine, my network works fine.

I have registered and static IP 000.000.00.000, my nameserver is ns1.some-domain.com
My domain goes stright to my nameserver. That's what i ask my domain provider to do.

Problems:

1. i can get the web site and ftp from my nameserver - ns1.some-domain.com from outside ( like internet caffe, my friend's pc )
2. i can not get my web site from my domain
3. i can not get my nameserver from my network ( prompt for password and username all the time which is my router, when i imput it says «resouce file not found» ) ???

All i'm asking you ( if you have a time ) to explain to me what i have to do so I can get my server by putting into my web browser.

My gateway is 192.168.0.1 and my server ip is 192.168.0.2. All other pc's have different ip. If you need some other info please ask.

I know, this cost some money, but i wouldn't ask you if i would have some to give away. I spent too much allready.

So ... if you have some time ... HELP !!! Please ...
