Is there anyone still offering training for Octel 200/300?

In our company we offer these courses once a year for new technical employees.
Sometimes we also train the customer with teh maintenance stuff. See thread923-831490.
Maybe you can use that info. We are situated in Denmark, but sometimes the training courses are given to students dialling up to the V200/300, and doing some exercises that are mailed to them.

We have also dispatched engineers to provide the training
for our customers abroad (i.e. sitatuated in other countries or states). The engineers travel e.g. to your site and do the technical training there or your engineers come to our premises.

No, I am sorry I don't have.
I have been working with the VMX-100 and the OCTEL 200/300 systems since 1992. In the good times we had 150 systems running. Today the number is only half since many customers got PC voice mail applications installed instead.
Please see the thread that I posted earlier (thread923-831490).
I have maintained first class service to these customers, and therefore many of our systems have been running since 1992/1993.

I may be able to help if you are in the UK. I have been involved with the Octel 200/300 for many years now, and used to write and present much of the sys admin training for Octel/Lucent/Avaya courses.

We are in California. I was wanting a more formal training in a classroom environment. It's all based on what our management team would allow. All our systems are older we do have maintenance support but they are not very pro-active.

Although the thought of working in California sounds very attractive, I am not certain it is feasible, sorry.

Well Just FYI we still have Octel Aria 250/350 classes in a formal classroom with instructors that were also with Octel.
And the demand is way up so I am sure we will be holding them as many as 3 times a month, could be more.
Our training center and breifing center is just 1 mile north of DFW airport.
