Hi, I'm trying to work something out and need a helpful hint or a way round what I'm trying to do.

I would like to make a mask over a scrollable dynamic textbox, so when the text scrolls the text at the top or bottom seems to fade out, like in some film or TV show credits. Is there a way I can accomplish this?

I know that mask layers don't recognise transparency and also, if I put a mask over the text box, it masks the whole text when I preview it but if I lock the mask layer, in editing mode, it shows if correctly masked..

Please, any ideas on a solution?

Cheers,

Well, it would help if you'd give more details. Photopaint doesn't do "scrollable dynamic textboxes," so what app are you talking about first off as that is probably the app you need to be concerned about.

Hi m8, sorry about this I seem to have posted this in the this forum and not the Flash forum. God knows what happened but I was searching the Flash forum for answers and for some reason I ended up on here and I don't even have the CorelDraw forum in my Threadminder list? God knows?

Anyway, cheers for the response, sorry - my bad, hehe
