Hi All!!!

This may be a dumb question but:

Is there an equivalent of "salvage" in NetWare 6?

When we had NetWare 4.11, we had a utility called "salvage", I don't think it is working with the NetWare 6. Is there a silimar utility for NetWare 6?

Thanks

Yes, it's called FILER. Starting in NetWare 5 Novell combined a lot of utilties. FILER is the DOS utility, there is also a Windows tool. If you have the NetWare client installed on your PC, click on a volume object in the browse window or on a directory. Then click the right mouse button (left if your left handed), you will see one of the N tools has a salvage menu option.
