Is there an easy way to download all config pages? 1

I know this is kind of an odd topic, but I was hoping that someone else might have had the same idea and found a way to make it work.

I want to be able to download all of the web pages and their settings from each of my various routers. I thought that I could use a website spider application like WinHTTrack, but it fails right away. It appears that the download fails because the app can't send login credentials when making the initial connection. Does anyone know of a free site ripper that can do this?

It sounds similiar to what you are looking for. They are full non functioning versions of all the Linksys routers interfaces.

What brand and model are you looking to do this with? Perhaps a bit of time on google may yield quicker results than a spider/robot.

Thanks for the reply, but this really isn't what I'm looking for. I want to automate the process of downloading the settings for each one of my routers.

Interesting link, anyway. Every now and then I do have to walk someone through making changes, and those GUI examples could come in handy.

So you are looking to backup your routers settings...
How many routers? And what brands?

I have about 10 in various cities/locations. Mostly BEFSR41's and WRT54G's.

I wanted to automate the process because most of the Internet connections at these sites are very slow and/or prone to communication problems. I could do everything manually, but I didn't want to sit there and wait for each page to load or deal with all of the page timeouts.
