Hello I was wondering if there is a way or technique to transfer or copy guidelines from one psd to another. Reason being is that I have multiple psds which just differ in color themes and I use guides to layout my slices. But each time i have to redo all my guides for each psd. Is there a way to just copy or transfer the guidelines?

The way I have been doing it is by just setting up one psd with all my guidelines then just taking my other psds and flattening them then draggin them into the psd with the guides. There's gotta be a better way.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks. -Shu

Don't think there is a way to do that. You could always do a Save As from your guideline file and then work from that file.

The better option is probably to take advantage of the layer sets. You could have a different layer set for each "theme" and simply turn them on and off in the same PSD. No more multiple files.

Hope it helps.

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!

I was thinking of that too but what a pain. ;) Thank you for your suggestion.
