First of all, I wasn't even sure which forum to post this question under. Anyway, I have a client who made a request that I retrieve some files that were initially created on a Tandy word processor, and all that he has are the disks. Does anyone know if this is even possible? If so, how?

Have you looked at the files using Notepad or some simple text editor?

First task would be to get the file from the word processor to a PC. I'm not even sure that the word processor still works. All that I was shown was the word processing diskettes. I think I could most likely could link com ports between the word processor and the PC and make the transfer. Any suggestions, if accessing the diskettes are my only option?
