Is there a way to find out who did a particular SQL Server installation?

If auditing information is enabled then you should see something in the security log.

Then there is not much else you can look at.

You may be able to look at the Windows Security event logs and then the time the SQL instance was installed and actually fired up to see who may have been on that server around that time.
