I am working on my brothers Plumbing Access database. It needs redesigning and much of the data needs to be normalized. I need to know that if I change a field or create it in a new table, where was that field used in his database, queries, forms, macros, reports, and code?

V-Tools for Access from is free and offers a global search facility.
If you're prepared to spend money, SpeedFerret will allow you to customise the search routines and replace table/fieldnames as well. See
