Hi

I'm using Crystal 9.0

I think I've been incorrectly asking for help with a box and whisker report but really don't want that. I developed what I wanted in Excel using the high low close stock report format. How can I create something like that in Crystal?

They only have a High-Low stock chart that looks for 2 values and then the High-Low-Open-Close stock chart which of course is looking for 4 values.

I only have 3 values: my value (HSMR) plus upper and lower confidence intervals.

Even if using another chart type and manipulating to be formatted where HSMR is a red marker and the other two values have the lines and _ or - below or above them so it looks like the stock reports I'd be happy.

Or can you tell me if there is more functionality with Crystal 11 for this. Thanks.

Hi

Sorry but another question: while googling I've seen reference to selecting line graphs and then selecting to show markers but not lines...is that possible with Crystal 9? If not what versions have that?

Thanks.

You can do this in XI, where you create a line chart, add three summaries, and then select the line you want shown with markers->right click->series options->markers only.

Hi

Thanks LB...I have Crystal 11 I just didn't like it so continued to use 9.

Hi

Just an FYI that I ended up using two graphs - the first was the open close stock report which I used for the UCI and LCI and then underlayed the line graph with markers for the actual data. I made the line graph transparent and all the grids transparent and manually set the maximum grid line so they would match up.

Now my question is: is there any way to programatically set the maximum grid value? Thanks.
