I have this txt file and would like to be able to read through the whole txt file and change all the font to courier new. Is there a way we can do this through awk or sed command and how to do it.

A txt file shouldn't have embedded font info.

Hope This Helps, PH.

[tt]sed 's/the font/courier new/g' <input.txt >output.txt[/tt]

Or...
Open your text editor, find the preferences, find the part of the preferences that has to do with fonts and change it. Quite simple and painless really. You can even change the size.
The two editors I have access to right now:
Notepad: Format > Font
Crimson Editor: Tools > Preferences > General > Fonts
