Hi,

Is there a way to use javascript to open a page in a new browser tab or in a pre-existing tab?

Thank you.

Hi Min,

The target attribute in your <a> link can be used. <a href="..." target="_blank">this</a> will open the link in a new window. <a href="..." target="some_name">but this</a> will open the link in a window you've named "some_window" -being either a frame name or a iframe name.

Thanks dkdude. I have used thos methods before to open pages in new window, but I would like to open the pages in new tabs (such as in IE7 or Firefox).

Regards,
Min
