I need to find a way to monitor how long it takes a message to go from source to destination. I can do this by turning on all flags in the logs and then watching a message go accross but I was wondering if there was a simpler way.
IMHO, its quite easy. Just add additional node into ETD where
sending e*Way will put timestamp before publishing this into IQ.
And at the "end"-e*Way compare current time with the time
in your node. Of course, time should be synchronised on both (starting and ending) hosts.
AFAIK, there are no such functionality in e*gate (at least in e*Gate 4.1.2)
hi mbadtk
In 4.5.x you have the IQViewer in the EGate monitor that provides comprehensive information on the timestamps. This may be your solution. so you could know when a message had been published to an IQ and when it had been picked up
