Is there a way to make the movie stage transparent?

I want to create a movie where parts of the stage are transparent so the desktop is able to be seen in the transparent areas. Is there a way to do this in Director 8?

The only solution I know is to use "RavWare WinShaper Xtra" ( which will allow you to use any irregular shape for your Projector... In your case, you can have parts of your Projector (movie) transparent...
