Is there a way to have subreport begin on the same page instead of going to the next page 1

I have a report with "details A" containing data that normally ends about 3/4 quarters of the first page. I have a subreport in the "details B" area and if there are only a few lines, the info in that report stays on page 1, which is perfect.

However, when the data length in the subreport in "details B" is longer than the remaining space on Page 1, the subreport starts displaying on page 2.

How can I force the subreport to start right after "details A" ends on page 1?

Do you have any sections in the report or subreport set to keep together? Also it's helpful if you post which versions you're using. Hope that helps.

I've tried setting "keep together" on and off in several combinations, but no luck. I have version 14.0.2.364RTM

A section set to "keep together" doesn't work if you have an object like a subreport that "Can Grow". So the first place to look is the properties of the subreport itself. Right click on the subreport and select "Format > Subreport" Then go to the "Common tab and remove the "Keep Object Together" check mark.
