Is there a way to disable the click sound IE makes 1

Is there a way to disable the IE click sound IE makes when you click CTRL S? I would like to do this through Javascript.

My suggestion - reach up and turn off your speakers.

Fortunately that means enhanced security for most of us.

Its a windows sound. On your personal computer you can disable the sound in control panel. I think that it is the same setting as making the start menu or folder click when you open it.

Funny enough, all of the mice I have ever owned make that little clicky noise when I click. Even when my speakers aren't plugged in. Who ever thought we needed to mimick that sound through the o/s?
