Is there a way to create a new database in an installation procedure of an application (the application uses
Pervasive.sql 2000i sp4 as it's dbms for the data file).

Yes there is. You can create the database a number of different ways. One you could use either DTI or DTO to actually create the ODBC DSN and the Pervasive Database Name. You didn't mention which tool you're using so it'll be more difficult to give specifics. Also, what interface does your application use (ODBC/Btrieve/etc)? info@mirtheil.com
