Is there a way to create a graph in excel made up of four things:
Count
$
Quarter
Region

And have counts on one side, and #$ on the other axis. I cannot seems to get it to work, because when I do the data table below looks dumb, and has blanks in it, and when the data table is correct, the graph does not work.... it won't show the count because the are so insignificant compared to the Thousands of $.

Thanks, I am in the stone age with excel 2003.

hi,

Change the scale on whichever axis has the smallest values. Usually the scale changes automatically when you assign the secondary axis.

I do not understand your "four things". Please post some sample data from the table that is the source for your chart.

I'd recommend Excel Charts by John Walkenbach.

You have Counts & Dollars (2 things) which are Claim Count & Expected Dollars, on the chart that you like.

The data table you want is not possible, with the data you want to display -- apples & oranges.

I'd display the data you posted below the chart you want to see.

On your chart, you might try taking the claim count series and formatting the series with NO GAP. It should display behind the expected dollars series.
