Is there a way to count the total number of e-mails that come through the Exchange server. And the total number of bytes of those e-mails

If you use Norton System Centre on your virus server it is listed on the front screen on port 4999...

If not, Exchange Admin has a properties screen that lists number of emails and is only reset when you do a manual compact. As to size, I don't think so.

You need to load the Exchange part onto your Exchange server then once it is running, do

http://yourexchangeserver:4999

and hope you know the password if you selected that option.

its called norton anti virus for microsoft exchange and as I recall is part of the system centre.
