Is there a way to cause text to run around a circle?

I am not trying to attach text to a circle, but rather make it appear as though a body of text is being pushed away from the circle in a run around fashion. Is this possible? Is there a workaround?

Use a graphics program like Illustrator or Photoshop to create a picture of the text how you want it. Then simply put the picture on your web page.

Unfortunately the section of text is quite long and the memory of the picture would be quite large.
