Is there any way to change the anchor point order, and assigning a certain anchor point as number one in a compound path ?? I have a plotter that starts at number one anchor point and I need to change this. TIA

Just a wild idea, Kite, you could try using the scissor tool on the anchor that's needing to be number one. Then marquee that spot with the direct-select tool, then Ctrl-Alt-Shift-J, which will join the deal back up.
