I accidentally shift+delet'ed a user's My Documents folder. Is there a tool out there that will recover these for her?

Did you try using System Restore? Is there a backup in existence?

no backup unfortunately...I am currently running r-undelete.exe, taking an image.dsk of the logical drive after which i will have to buy the software and in theory it should be able to restore the deleted files....I will let you know...
