I have a report that's been running fine for a while but users are now encountering problems.

When they run the report they get one parameter field where they select the cleintID from a dropdown list. Once they submit that value, a report generates with data from that client.

There are thousands of records now but the ClientID list stops at ID 1009. Is there a limit to how many options may be entered in the dropdown list? Will I have to have people key in the number instead of using a dropdown list? I prefer the dropdown since you can't mistype a number but if it can't be done, it can't be done.

Thanks!

Yes in CR 10 the limit was 500 or the first 5 seconds of querying the unique values from the field. In CR XI they increased that limit to 1000 or the first 10 seconds.

There is a regedit that you can modify to increase that limit. If you go to business objects website, here is the KB article number KBase Article ID:c2017238.

Please be carefull when modifying the registry key.

Thanks so much!
