In other words if I want to find out wich disk/s has my data for file system a what do I do instead of mapping meta-strip-slice and disk volumes ?

Thanks,

Let me say it again..
What basically I am trying to understand is you have slices, volume, metavolume and slice...wher the disk volume comes ? how disk volume and slice volume are related ? if I am useing slice volume to make volume why do I need disk volume ?...very confused about the terms...just looking to find easy way to map my data on the physical disk...:) As alway...any Unix SA will want....

Thanks,
