is there a scrpit I could run that would close a file remotely?

Hello-

I have a user that apparently has an open file that is either erroring out or in some sort of limbo state where they can't close the file.. I believe it's an adobe file running locally on their pc. It could also be a file that opens on their pc BUT is pulled from a mapped share on a server..

Is there a vbscript I could run where I could input the hostname and perhaps the name of the file I would like to force closed..?

Any support would be great
