Is there a log that displays the output from the startup scripts rc2.d,rc3.d... ( aside from /dev/console )

Thanks in advance
Dennis

Not as far as I know. Your best bet might be to amend your scripts in /etc/rc2.d rc3.d etc to redirect any output to a log using redirection (eg [command] > or >> startup.log). Hope this helps.

The startup scripts probably have a line that > /dev/console 2>&1

Thanks for the replies
