I run several sites on several different hosts around the US. One host was down this morning due to reasons not yet explained by their admins. Another site is down this afternoon due to DOS attacks. Both of these are solid hosts, not prone to outages. Is there an index of global attacks on the internet so that I can tell if this is just a coincidence or if a new worm/virus went into full effect today? I see no news on slashdot.org. eweek.com, and netcraft.com.

Update: the admins at the first site just confirmed that their issue was also a DOS attack. I have been on these servers for over 4 years and I have never encountered a DOS that crippled my sites.
