Hello All,
I was asked if there is a difference between Office 97 VBA and Office 2000 VBA.

I've been working with Office 2000 VBA, so I'm not sure.

Thanks for your replies.

Regards,
Michael

Hi
In short the answer is yes!
However I am not sure of what the main differences are - I kind of went from xl95 to xl2k without doing much work in xl97. The difference for me was phenominal, the diff between 97 & 2k not so much.

VB6 introduced some new features of which the FileSystemObject object was one. However I have used this object and seen it successfully run on a machine running xl97.

See this link for a brief history of VBA up to when the book was published.

Happy Friday
