I'd like to test the software.
And would also like to ask:

Do u like working with it?
Can u easily debug asp pages?
Does the software add unneeded code?
Can I add a site to Interdev, and load(in localhost),a site that already exist and works, without having a hard time, with extra definitions needed by the software?
Does it have added features such as a menu builder?
Is it easy to edit the code?
Does it works perfectly for Win XP?

I want to test and decide which software is better, Microsoft Interdev or Dreamweaver MX?

Thanks

I don't think you can get a trial version of it. I may be wrong though, it wouldn't be the first time. I know Borland had a "Teach Yourself Visual Basic" at one time. It came with a book and a "trial" version of VB. The version of VB was fully functional, but you couldn't compile and distribute apps with it. Since you can write asp pages without compiling them, I doubt you could get the same thing with Visual Interdev. As for the rest of your questions, I'll try.

.Do u like working with it?
I do, but it's all I've ever used, aside from Front Page 2002. I like Front Page to add "bells and whistles" to my page, but for the ASP, I'd rather have Interdev

.Can u easily debug asp pages?
I've never really used the DeBugger. I just use the error messages that IE gives me and go from there.

.Does the software add unneeded code?
I haven't noticed a lot of unneeded code. It will put a <p> and a few others that I've taken out though.

.Can I add a site to Interdev, and load(in localhost),a site that already exist and works, without having a hard time, with extra definitions needed by the software?...
The sites have to be loaded in IIS to check them(asp pages). It's a pain to figure it out, but I did with a good book. With Win2K Pro, you can only have one site. It can however have child webs. You just have to type the name of the folder in the url ( With Win2KServer you can have multiple sites.

.Does it have added features such as a menu builder?
I've never needed it so I can't really answer this one.

.Is it easy to edit the code?
To me it's easy, but I don't know your definition of easy.

.Does it works perfectly for Win XP?
Does anything from Micro$oft work &quot;perfectly&quot;?
