I have ie6 and every time I close the programme down a short cut appears on my desktop with a “ ~ ” under it. Although I delete this without a problem it is annoying. Can I stop it ?? Thanks, Keith

I'm surprised that you see it after using IE. It's actually related to OE. See faq605-5128 What is this ~ (tilde) file on my desktop
