Is There A Calculation For Number of SSD Disk Per FC Disks?

I administer an IBM V7000 and we are looking to increase the space. I was told that someone used a formula to determine how many SSD disks to buy based on how many FC disks they bought. Or maybe they purchased say, 5TB of SSD space because they bought 20TB of FC space.

Has any one heard of a calculation to do this?
