Is there a bug in 4.32. Our machine kinda crashed. You could ping it but that was it. No telnet, etc and no display on the screen. Machine was unresponsive until rebooted. We were told to upgrade to 4.33 as this was a known bug with 4.32. Is this right???? [sig][/sig]

There is a telnet bug in AIX 4.3.2 when using the default settings which run telnetd with the -a parameter. The result of which is the box appears to hang.
Try the following.
1) edit /etc/inetd.conf and remove the -a parameter from the end of the telnet line.
2) Refresh the inetd subsystem by using the command refresh -s inetd
