Is there a auto tape eject function for BE ver. 7.2 Rev 1025

Looking to find out if Back Up Exec ver 7.2 has a auto eject function so that one does not have to manually eject tape from drive when back up is finished.

No, there is no additional option that you can add to gain this feature. Suggest upgrading to 8.6. Which does have the feature you request.

Are we talking NT here. When creating the backup job, on the "advanced" tab.

Tick the "Eject Tape when finished"
