Been using Corel 7 for a looooong time now. Am considering the upgrade to Corel 8, but have heard some negative reviews. Even though 7 isn't state-of-the-art, it serves me fine right now. My question: should I bother with 8, or skip it entirely and wait for 9? Is there a version 9 at all?

Is the upgrade to v8 worth it?

I usually skip one level of upgrades with all my programs, but from what I have heard version 7 cannot hold a candle to version 8! (I went from 6 to 8.) There's a vast amount of improvement in 8 that I don't recall seeing in 7. <br>
HOWEVER, if 7 is all you need, then why upgrade till 9 comes out?
