Hello, everyone.
Someone has asked me to restore some files, I told them I did not see c:\ on the tapes they sent me. I see a SYSTEM STATE file, but I did not believe that was c:. This should be just a quick yes/no question. Many thanks. :)

No system state is the W2K equivalent of the registry and such.
C:\ would be a different saveset.

Thanks TDun. Thats all I needed to know(And the same thing I told my boss). I made the other site in Taiwan look at their server, and it seems they ran out of tapes before c:\ was saved to tape. Then they sent me their tapes....I scanned them and told them C:\ wasnt there. They told me it had to be. It was being backed up.... I wish folks would listen to their technical people more. :) C:\isnt there, and therefore the files wont be there. Thanks again. :)
