Is there a way to tell if a stored procedure is running so the same proc is not executed again at the same time from another user?

Hi,
just a suggestion, have you tried locking the data the proc calls then the second proc call will just wait in a queue

You could also put the stored procedure in a job. You can't re-execute a job while its running.
