Hi All

I have an Avaya S8500 media server, It works fine, but sometimes, during a call,(Mexico to EU) suddenly both parts lost the comunication, the call seems to continue but one part, can't hear the other part,It is really weird, and I would like to know if exists a kind of test or a manual where I can detect a fail or error in my PBX. I show the alarms and errors but I don't know how to interpret them but I think that I don't have errors or alarms that could be related with this incident.

Do you have any suggestion?

Two suggestions:
1. Repost your question in the Definity forum - you'll get a much better response.
2. When you repost, indicate what type of trunks the calls are using (PRI/SIP/H323, etc).
Your PBX maintainer is your friend when it comes to troubleshooting these issues...

I have encountered this situation. The problem was in the VoIP configurations + analogue lines used from the last operator (there is a chain of operators during all the calls' path from the source to the destination)
