Is Sniffer DSS-ET02 possible to contribute network traffic?

what will happen if both sniffer driver are enable in both monitor and transport interface card of DSS-ET02-NAI-PRO?

Because recently I install our DSS-ET02 on cisco4000 and configure port span then after a week or two we are experiencing network problem in connecting to the servers connected to cisco4000. Also, some servers cannot communicate to each other on same segments. but when i disable the port span and remove the DSS-ET02 everything normalize. we are in a switch environment.

I pulled out our DSS-ET02 today and check its network inteface card and found out that sniffer driver are enable on both cards.

What are the possible issues?

Sniffer driver should NEVER be enabled on the transport card.

Yes, never enable the sniffer driver on a transport card.

Creating a SPAN port itself also takes resources of a switch normally so maybe that could be a contribution?!?
