IS Service fails after Restore 2

NT4 SP6
Arserve2000 SP4
Exchange5.5 SP4

Information Store is failing to start after a restore. It returned a service specific error of 4294966746. In the event viewer it is giving me a 1067-the process terminated unexpectedly.

I have looked up quite a bit of documentation on this and have a few ideas but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this ?

Unfortunately, the IS will usually fail to start after it is restored. This is usually due to the fact that it needs to be resynched with the DS through Microsoft Utilities. Normally running an isinteg -patch will resynch, but check with MS documentation as these utilities are pretty unforgiving when it comes to removing what it sees as corruption.
