Getting an NT server to support. Need a scheduling and scripting environment to automate tasks. Suggestions have included perl, rexx, tcl, python, WSH with VB scripting edition and WSH with jscript.

Any pro's or cons on these. [sig][/sig]

The biggest con to WSH is the viruses that are written using thes method. On the plus side, it is supported by a very large corporation.

I personnally like Python. Is is similar to C/C++ so it is not hard to learn. It is fast catching on with programmers.

I just started with python, but I've been
playing with tcl/tk and unix shell/awk
stuff for years.
I installed python on my win2k machine and it seems more natural there then tcl/tk,
even though it is much harder to get things done.
Take this with a grain of salt. I come from a procedural background and OOP is new.
