My infrastructure group is implementing a SAN and they want to put a Fiber HBA card into the Unity Server. The concept is to move the SQL database to the external SAN disks on a EMC Clarion CX500 so it can replicate the SQL Data to a backup datacenter. Is this supported by Cisco? Should I allow the card to be installed?

I'm not too sure... Before you could run Unity on your own server as long as it met the specs required.. I don't see why you couldn't do this..
