Is ProgSQLv.7.6.400b compatible SBS/SQL Srv 2008 1

Macola Progression SQL v 7.6.400b

We are upgrading our server hardware and want to move from Small Business Srvr/SQL Srvr 2000 to 2008. Can someone tell me if our version of Macola is compatible with 2008?

None. Exact does not support this yet. You might talk to your reseller or exact regional office about getting in the controlled release program, if it exists yet.

You're not alone leishad - we're needing to do the same. (Want to move away from SBS2003 altogether onto new hardware).

We're small - though we're technically versed - and don't want to mess with too many variables at the same time.

Adding new hardware and server and DB in addition to some sort of controlled release sounds like a recipie for the Boss to get all freaked out!

So...lacking any sort of 'controlled release' program...what are our options for upgrading/adding a server at this point?

The recently released Progression 7.7.300 is Server 2008 and SQL 2008 compatible;

- Windows Servers 2008 32-Bit and 64-Bit Support
- SQL Server 2008 32-Bit and 64-Bit Support
- I/M - Transit Inventory Status Changes and Results
- S/M - Option to convert Progression account based form to Synergy Enterprise document.

And though it was released a couple of months ago, ES9.5.300 is also Server 2008 and SQL 2008 compatible;

- Support for 32 and 64 bit editions of Windows Server 2008.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008
- Windows 7.
