I can't sem to find ANY info on this question. I have a PIX 501 4 port Firewall! If is doable at this time, please give versions, firmwares, etc. Thanks!

Cisco's site says it will be "available Q1 2002", and I believe it is available now with version 6.2.1 software. I just put this on our 506. While I have not configured it at all, I did see the commands.

Thanks again, Do I NEED to have the PDM 2.0? My boss is NOT a fan of the PDM! Command Line Junkie! :)

I've had Cisco people tell me when it comes to configuring a PIX, use either use the CLI or the PDM, but not both, as changes made via the PDM can sometimes cause conflicts with changes made via the CLI.

Thanks everyone! I'll check it out today on another 501, we just got in this morning!

Well we configured the PIX and could NOT get an IP from BellSouth's DHCP Server! We are using as mentioned Bellsouth DSL w/ an Alcatel Speed Touch Home Modem. The PIX is configured like all our others (this being the first DSL try) with the added PPPoE / VPDN lines. My boss has a ticket in with Cisco, but they claim it should work. We are replacing a Linksys DSL Router with the PIX and it works like a champ. We followed the directions in the link above over and over again. Any help IS appreciated.
