Is possible send an email from a web page widthout use outlook?

It is possible if u have an Emailer object witch u create in your page and send the mail...
In NT or W2000 i use CDONTS.NewMail object but u will find a free emailer "JMail" i think... ________

Hello shadow!!

I am development a web site and i don't know what operating system will have the client station. Using a cgi process i can make this task but i am interesting in prevent the access to the cgi processes and use the client at maximum.

U could use an active x component on theclient side witch sends the email... ________
