Hi people,

We have a client that has a G3R System ande he wants 2 remote connections:

1° - With public direct analog line
2° - With a DDR station

How can we do that?

PS: Today the second option are ok with a modem.

Thanks for any help!!

If you are talking about remote accessing them for diagnostics then all you need is customer access to inads port. Then you can dial in using ASA and away you go.

Without IP the INADS port is the only way to do it.

Setup a connection in asa dialing the inads line and good luck.

You can check this by "disp sys main" (correct me if I am wrong) . Its been a while for me on an G3R now. It should show "customer access to INADS line "y".

What is DDR? With a Data Line Card, G3R support 8 users connecting via a data module which you can also connect 8 modems for remote connections to those in addition to the INADS port. You can also use PC's with data mods, then use VPN Remote Desktop or PC Anywhere to dial in and do admin from there.

Or use VPN and configure an (old) cisco router as described in faq690-3923.
Used to use this before I had IP. works great.
Otherwise just dial in to INADS, preferreably connected to a direct outside line.
